Behind the lens
I’m Mo — the wildly curious one behind the lens.
I shoot on an Olympus OM-5. Surgery left me with limited use of my left arm, so the old two-handed Nikon retired early — the OM-5 is small, sharp, and fits in a coat pocket like it knows what it’s doing.
I photograph from the side of the road, where the lens does the wandering for me. Alongside the landscapes, I’ve been working on a series called After Flowering — spent blooms, seed heads, the stage most people throw away.
Based just outside Glasgow. I supply the curiosity. Scotland supplies the weather.
My work appears regularly at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography.
